I realized that it had been a long time since I've updated my personal page.  So long, that I was only a father of one at the time and Camden is now 16 months old. 

There are times when life is just TOO busy.  Do you ever feel that way?  There is always something that needs our attention and needs it now.  We have all these time saving devices, but it just seems that we then feel the need to cram more "stuff" in.  Our society is so instant gratification that it can be hard to just sit and think.  Don't get me long, I appreciate the new technology, but there are times when I wish I lived in the days when people would catch up with their friends and family by actually sitting down with them on the porch instead of texting or emailing them. 

I was trying to help Cadence (who is 3) understand what heaven is like.  When I was younger, the thought of eternity almost scared me.  What do you mean it will never end?  (When your a kid the time between summer vacation and Christmas vacation can seem like an eternity).  However, now that time seems to flying by so fast, aside from getting so be in the presence of God and see Jesus, I'm looking forward to not running out of time.  We can visit with anyone for as long as we want and we won't be late for something else.  If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, someday we might be sitting down for a long visit somewhere in eternity.
